Supplies
Directions
Using the free printable pattern, start by cutting each shape out of colored felt.
All of the cut pieces should look like this.
Next you can hot glue a small piece of sequence or confetti onto each of the eyes. This step is optional, but I like to do it to give the eyes a little bit of sparkle (The black eyes will be for the pumpkin and candy corn headbands. The white eyes will be for the cat and bat headbands.)
Cat Halloween Headbands
Use a small dot of hot glue to attach the eyes, nose, and ear pieces on to one of the cat-shape cutouts.
Glue this cat face to the headband.
Then flip the headband over, lineup the second cat-shape cutout, and glue the two pieces together.
Pumpkin Halloween Headbands
On the small piece of light green felt, draw a swirly vine with green sharpie.
Line up the eyes on the pumpkin and glue them into place with a small dot of hot glue.
Then using a black sharpie, draw on a small smile. And using an orange sharpie, draw two crease lines on the sides of the pumpkin.
Position the green stem and the green vine swirl behind the pumpkin and glue them into place.
It should look like this from the backside.
Next, glue the pumpkin face to the headband.
Then flip the headband over, lineup the second pumpkin-shape, and glue the two pieces together.
Candy Corn Halloween Headbands
Arrange the three colors of the candy corn with white on top, orange in the middle, and yellow on bottom.
Position the eyes on the orange section and glue them into place with a small dot of hot glue.
Then draw on a small smile with black sharpie.
Next, glue the three colors into place on top of the small yellow triangle shape.
It should look like this from the backside.
Now you can glue the candy corn face to the headband.
Then flip the headband over, lineup the other candy corn shape, and glue the two pieces together.
Bat Halloween Headbands
Position the eyes and the smile on the face of the bat and glue them into place with a small dot of hot glue.
Line up the head of the bat on top of the body and glue it into place.
Glue the bat to the headband.
Then flip the headband over, lineup the second bat-shape cutout, and glue the two pieces together.
