With just a headband and some tulle, you can make your own Trolls hair headbands. And before you know it, your little Poppy or Branch will be singing “Hair Up!” Find out how in this simple guide!

Supplies
Headbands – at least 1 inch wide
Tulle – various colors. The stiffer, the better. (Just a heads-up: If you purchase tulle with glitter, it will get everywhere when making these! I learned this the hard way when making Branch’s trolls hair headband!)
Ribbon – various colors
Blue silk flowers (look for these in the dollar bin at your local craft store)
Directions
Cut a length of tulle, roughly 2 feet long.
Fold the tulle in half to make a loop in the middle.
With the tulle behind the headband, thread the bottom end of the tulle through the loop and pull.
Repeat this until you have several lengths of tulle wrapped around your headband.
Then, with a colorful ribbon, tie a bow around the rubber band. Secure in place with a dot of glue.
POPPY
Next, if you’re making the Poppy trolls hair headband, you’ll want to cut a length of green ribbon. Begin by gluing the ribbon under the left edge of the tulle.
Then glue the ribbon along the base of the tulle.
And finally tuck it under the right edge of the tulle and glue it in place.
Space them along the green ribbon and secure them in place with a few dots of glue. And that’s it! So cute, right?!
BRANCH
For the Branch trolls hair headband, I didn’t add any ribbon or flowers so the boys would want to wear it. I just used the headband and sparkly blue tulle. Super easy, right?!
DJ SUKI
For DJ Suki, I used orange tulle and a sparkly pink ribbon around the rubber band. Then, to represent her headphones, I made two big bows out of thick, white ribbon. And I used a funky green ribbon to connect the two bows.
RAINBOW (BRIDGET)
For the rainbow headband, I just used a bit of each color tulle. Then tied it together with a purple bow. And I added a silk flower on one side.
PURPLE
Then, because I had some leftover tulle, I made an extra purple trolls hair headband with a fun green ribbon at the top.
