Supplies
Acrylic craft paint in holiday colors
Felt (red, green, blue)
Directions
Start by painting the flowerpots and small wooden beads with acrylic craft paint. For our elves we painted the beads read and green, and we painted the flowerpots red (but any color that matches your holiday decor will work)!
Cut two pieces of string per elf. One string will make the legs and the other will make the arms.
To make the hands and the feet, hot glue one bead to each end of each string.
Glue the string for the legs to the underside of the flowerpot.
Glue the string for the arms and the large wooden bead to the top of the flowerpot.
Next cut various colors of felt to make the elf scarves and hats.
Wrap a scarf around the base of the head and glue into place.
Form a cone shape with felt to make the elf hats. Glue the seam closed with a line of hot glue.
Glue the hat to the top of the head.
Add two small white buttons to the body and draw eyes on with black marker. And that’s it!
